Text on the reverse side:
From The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine (1611) by celebrated English cartographer John Speed (1552-1629). In the making of this map, Speed relied heavily upon an unpublished map of Wales by Christopher Saxon (c.1542-1610/11). Saxon's map, produced in 1560, is considered by many the first relatively accurate map of Wales.
